Gemology Volume 3

Add even MORE sparkle to your renders!

This final volume is the very last to this series and the biggest of the three. It includes even more gemstones for all your rendering needs. Simply add them to any object, and you have instant gemstone textures. You can use them for jewelry, clothing, weapons, crystal balls, skulls and more! You could even use the solid gems to texture tiled floors and for other architectural details.

If you are a vendor, you can use the shaders and the textures in your own sets.

Contains 60 shaders and 60 seamless texture maps. Some of the textures are from personal photos taken at high resolution with a macro, while the others are digitally created to closely mimic the gemstones in appearance.

There are 15 refracting clear gems, which feature the least amount of occlusions from the previous volumes, so they are more crystalline and glassy looking. 30 new Solid/Opaque Gems with high gloss, as well as refraction and realistic backscattering on the Labradorite/Ammolite/Spectrolite and Tiger Eye shaders. Last but not least… 15 new sparkly gems which include druzy (crystal encrusted) formations with an optional enamel control (for a smoother/tumbled look), and stones with natural glittery flecks (such as Sunstone and Lepidolite) Topping this final category is Pyrite (which also optionally works with the enamel druze control) Due to its nature, the Pyrite also includes bump, normal, ambient and displacement maps with it.
