My blog has a new design (finally) My old design decided to break out of nowhere on me ages ago (the tables, specifically)  So I spent the day making a new one. Its as close to the old design as I could get it (but the bg images are new… I felt like they needed an update too) In some ways, I think the new design is superior. So, we’ll call it a good thing.

Also added PDF’s to the wiki on here (I was a bit behind with that, and updating my product page – I just haven’t had the time to do much of anything on here)

I had a request to do a tutorial on painting angel wings. So here are a couple new video tutorials that show you how to paint feathers in Photoshop. You have to walk before you can run, so these should be where you start.

First, we have a normal feather:

And then we have a peacock feather:

These establish a base for painting a single feather, and part 3 will show you how to paint entire wings and such using the methods learned here (stay tuned)

Finally, here is an example of what you can do (click for larger image)

In addition to making albino peacock feathers, these also make great phoenix feathers

Ok, so I wrote this for fun… and decided I like it enuff to keep it lol Anyone who knows me, knows I am totally into Astrology. Ive studied it most of my life. So everything here comes from that experience, and is precisely how my chart is. Each mode is represented as though it were its own personality, and is marked by the placement and in some cases, the house they fall into (as it changes the mode of expression to an important degree)

While its fairly true to form, and uses actual things Ive said, things I feel on the whole and ways I can actually be, its actually sort of hyperbole. Ive always said its kind of cathartic to make fun of one’s self…. not only do you note your own pitfalls and strengths, but also, making light of them helps to not take things so seriously. That is, afterall, one major lesson in my chart…. not to take things so seriously (Saturn in Leo in the 12th)
